Client Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at The J.M. Smucker Co. as an Account Manager (Sobeys National). This role will be responsible for developing and managing business relationships with key clients, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve desired business goals, including volume objectives, trade spending requirements, and strategies aligned with the Smucker brand and corporate strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including Sobeys, to understand their business needs and develop solutions to drive growth and revenue.
- Sales Performance: Achieve full-line distribution for all Smucker products, with a focus on maximizing product volume and contribution margin.
- Trade Spend Management: Work closely with Smucker's Trade Spend team to achieve desired accounts receivable and trade spending goals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders, including sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Education: University degree or college diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, with a focus on business development, sales, or account management.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Language: Bilingual in English and French (verbal and written) is an asset.
