Position Overview:

The Client Relationship Manager operates as a vital member of the Business Development Team within the Branch, focusing on residential and commercial lending, as well as other financial services. The ideal candidate must possess fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English, and will be tasked with nurturing and expanding business relationships with current and prospective clients while fostering new long-term partnerships in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients in the sectors of retail and commercial lending, particularly in real estate financing.
  • Gather necessary information to prepare initial credit applications and ensure completion of all required documentation.
  • Independently evaluate and analyze financial and borrower data to formulate a robust rationale for credit adjudication and recommendations.
  • Maintain comprehensive client files, including conducting annual reviews of managed accounts and assigned portfolios.
  • Identify avenues for business growth and product improvements based on client insights and competitive market evaluations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of account-related marketing initiatives and social events, including delivering presentations to various clients as required.
  • Actively participate in the product development process in collaboration with team members and cross-functional departments.
  • Support the Department Head in achieving departmental performance objectives.
  • Mentor and inspire junior team members and staff regarding corporate banking practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial credit within retail lending, commercial lending, or real estate sectors is preferred.
  • Relevant post-secondary education, such as a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate a dynamic work environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
