We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Garbage Truck Driver. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Job SummaryThe primary responsibility of this role is to operate a garbage truck, collecting waste from various locations while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Operating and Maintaining Vehicles: Ensure that the garbage truck is in good working condition, performing regular checks and maintenance tasks as required.
- Collecting Waste: Safely collect and transport waste to designated facilities, adhering to environmental regulations and company policies.
- Reporting Incidents: Promptly report any malfunctions or incidents to the supervisor, ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: At least 1 month of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license and any other required certifications.
You will work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in different weather conditions. You may be exposed to odors, wet/damp conditions, and varying temperatures.
Salary and BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary, ranging from $45,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive excellent benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

This role requires physical stamina, with regular lifting of up to 23 kg (50 lbs). You will also work under pressure, responding to emergencies and adapting to changing circumstances.
