We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at ONBusiness Chartered Professional Accountants Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients on all assignments.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of Review and Notice to Reader Working Paper Files
- Conduct External Financial Statement Audits
- Perform Financial and Systems Analysis
- Prepare Complex Corporate, Personal, and Trust Income Tax Returns
- The ideal candidate may also be tasked with other work as necessary, reporting to experienced Advisors/Managers.
- Preparation of Year-End Files (corporate, partnership, sole proprietorship) in the Financial Services division, including:
- The file is documented and complete in the ONBusiness way;
- Accounting Issues Uncovered and Resolved;
- Preparation of the Tax Return Ready for Presentation to the Client,
- Tax Issues Uncovered and Resolved;
- Resolution and Completion of Review Notes Prepared by Financial Services Managers;
- Consultation with Financial Services Managers to Solve Issues Raised, Where Necessary;
- Identification and Resolution of Accounting & Other Issues as Raised by Client During Year-End Process.
- CPA Designation or equivalent experience with some formal training;
- Hands-On Experience in Accounting, Corporate & Personal Tax Preparation;
- Solid Knowledge of Corporation Tax (Advanced Level);
- Solid Knowledge of Personal Tax (Advanced Level);
- Solid Knowledge of Accounting & Bookkeeping (Advanced Level);
- Proficient IT Skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, Caseware, Profile.
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
