We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Management Administrator to join our team at Daniels Health & Sharpsmart. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of our Winnipeg facility.

Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $42,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

Responsibilities
The Waste Management Administrator will be responsible for:
• Scheduling client appointments into the facility and coordinating changes/exceptions and other required notifications with operations.
• Documenting and maintaining waste receipt/shipment records while ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all entries created, including waste manifests, bills of lading, and work orders.
• Ensuring compliance with MTO/TDG/MOE or applicable provincial regulations regarding transportation, receiving, and management of waste.
• Preparing work orders based on confirmed service requests and completing billings following job execution and material acceptance with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Handling general customer/facility inquiries and directing them to other appropriate parties as needed.
• Creating and maintaining customer accounts, waste classification, and pricing profiles within our proprietary CRM system.
• Preparing waste diversion and other reports for customers and management upon request.
• Providing general office administration, including electronic and paper-based storage/filing.
• Assisting with procurement and purchasing as required.

Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:
• 2-4 years' experience in a similar role.
• A university degree or college diploma, with preference given to those in environmental science and transportation-related disciplines.
• Previous environmental or related experience with knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is an asset.
• At least 2 years' customer service and/or office administration experience.
• Excellent communication skills in oral and written English.
• The ability to independently resolve problems within one's scope of authority and understanding of when to escalate to superiors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with emphasis on Excel.
