CharityVillage is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Community Engagement and Program Development Manager. This position will be based in the Lower Mainland, BC, requiring a minimum of three days per week working in our downtown Vancouver office and/or in the field with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain volunteers, as well as securing program delivery partners. Your leadership skills will enable us to achieve program delivery goals and expand our impact.

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an estimated annual salary of $83,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience.

About the Role
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develops and executes strategies to attract and retain volunteers, ensuring CharityVillage achieves and continues to expand program delivery goals.
    • Creates innovative approaches to recruit delivery partners, including educators, NGOs, and community groups.
Requirements
  • Builds and leads a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Develops and stewards key relationships with BC School Districts leaders and other delivery partners that support the continued expansion of CharityVillage's program reach.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, by integrating principles into decision-making and interactions.
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends and data to inform strategies and achieve measurable results.
  • Familiarity with the non-profit sector, BC's business ecosystem, and the K-12 education system.
