Community Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

The Broadway Subway Project Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Community Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to play a key role in maintaining the reputation of the project throughout construction.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of business relations, community relations, issues management, and communications. They will be responsible for developing relationships with community members, stakeholders, and members of the public, as well as working within a large multi-disciplinary construction team.
In this role, you will manage and coordinate the implementation of a comprehensive construction communications and community relations program for the Broadway Subway Project. This includes writing public notifications for local communities, neighbourhoods, stakeholders, and the general public regarding construction, construction-related traffic impacts, and incidents.
You will also support media relations activities by providing accurate information about the Project when required, and manage and execute public events such as information tables, pop-up tents, or off-site stakeholder meetings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Requirements:**
- Sound knowledge of business relations, community relations, issues management, and communications
- Active Class 5 - driver's license
- Experience in the construction industry or government is an asset
- Exposure to business development, sub-trade, engineering, and construction operations is an asset
**Salary:
$120,000 per year, depending on experience
