Job Summary

The International Application Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the application process for international students at Trinity Western University. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships with key agencies, schools, and organizations in the region to promote TWU's global programs.
  • Assist Admissions Counsellors with follow-up calls and emails to agents, students, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth application process.
  • Organize and coordinate campus visits, including group visits, individual appointments, and campus tours, to provide a welcoming experience for international students.
  • Manage international student applications and the application process for programs in the region, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems using TWU's enterprise systems, including Aqueduct and Jenzabar, to ensure efficient data management.
  • Label, prepare, and transfer files in response to requests from other departments, such as transfer credits evaluation and missing documents.
  • Implement and update records classification, retention, and disposal policies and procedures, as needed.
  • Assist the TWU Global receptionist with processing application charges and other related fees.
  • Prepare Admissible letters and Letters of Acceptance, as required, and obtain the Director of Asia Marketing and Partner Relations' signature.
  • Communicate with students to request documents or provide updates on the latest course information.
  • Compile, compare, and analyze data, statistics, and other information to support research activities or respond to requests from the Director of Asia Marketing and Partner Relations and other departments.
  • Collaborate with the front desk's Student Support Associate on course registrations related to TWU Global programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience working with data administration and/or international students.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the ability to use online systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other team members and set work schedules and activities to achieve team goals.
