As an Applications Engineer, you will be a sales professional who embodies AWC's commitment to client satisfaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and collaborates with the outside sales team and other departments to build strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to clients via email and phone calls
  • Assist clients in selecting process equipment that meets their specific needs
  • Prepare quotations and proposals in response to customer inquiries
  • Process sales orders and procure parts and equipment
  • Expedite orders from vendors
  • Participate in parts recapture initiatives and growth programs
  • Design and propose small packaged systems
  • Manage projects to ensure successful execution

Qualifications:
  • Diploma in a mechanical discipline from a technical college, such as BCIT
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales in a technical role in industrial markets
  • Product-specific training will be provided; experience with pumps and/or valves is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Desire for lifelong continuous learning and development
