Job Summary
Sysco Food Services is seeking a skilled Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our Local Sales team in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering a high-performing team.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have 7-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with fluency in English and French. They will have advanced knowledge of core business processes, including customer planning and management, sales and distribution, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Local Sales team with a focus on performance, priorities, development, and attaining sales goals
- Deliver annual sales and piece growth as per set targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular communication and identifying customer needs
- Ensure contract compliance for all independent, contract, and tendered business
- Prepare monthly period-end reports and annual budget for the Local Sales division
- Collaborate with merchandising to identify new product offerings that can contribute to increased margin, sales, and our mission of helping customers succeed
- Directs and oversees the marketing function, researching and developing strategies to drive market share growth

Requirements
- 7-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience
- Fluency in English and French
- Advanced knowledge of core business processes
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
- Proven track record in executing business objectives, actively driving performance, solving problems, and delivering projects on-time
- Intermediate expertise with Microsoft Office products and CRM tools
