About the Role

Brandt is seeking an accomplished Director of Sales – Forestry to lead our team in the Quebec and Atlantic region. This high-profile position demands a sales expert who can drive market share growth, optimize asset management, and provide strategic guidance on used equipment valuations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Achieve and surpass agreed-upon market share goals for new forestry equipment sales, ensuring long-term success for our manufacturer and company.
  2. Effectively manage asset turnover, minimize aging, and protect company assets, including inventory of new and used whole goods.
  3. Deliver detailed forecasts and insights into inventory levels to achieve sales and market share objectives.
  4. Evaluate competitive quotes, pricing, and offers to enhance market intelligence, increase share, and margins across the area of responsibility.
  5. Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for the forestry sector.
  6. Travel extensively to interact with customers and Brandt representatives on job sites, providing mentorship and guidance on sales tactics, product features, and challenges.
  7. Foster a knowledgeable, motivated, and successful team within the AOR by assisting in employee development.
  8. Manage duties, assignments, and expenses of Corporate Product Managers assigned to the area of responsibility.
  9. Collaborate with branch sales teams to build relationships with mill yard customers, develop multi-level sales strategies, customer organization charts, and understand unique market challenges/opportunities.

  • Fluency in both English and French is essential.
