About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at DBA WHITE SPOT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to address any issues or concerns.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have everything we need to operate efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide leadership and guidance to help them work effectively as a team.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements
  • Education: You will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and a strong foundation in culinary arts and kitchen management.
  • Experience: You will have at least 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment, with a proven track record of preparing and cooking high-quality meals and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Language: You will be fluent in English, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Work Hours: You will be available to work 37.5 to 40 hours per week, and be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
