About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at TownePlace Suites by Marriott West Kelowna. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.

Culinary Leadership

Train and supervise our culinary team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the resources needed to meet our culinary goals.

Quality Control

Inspect our kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.

Staff Development

Develop and implement training programs to help our staff improve their culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week is required.
