About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at JnB Homecare Services Ltd. as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and preparing meals for our clients, ensuring a high level of quality and safety in our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to dietary requirements and food safety guidelines
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Cook Trade Certification
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
