We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities with customers across various channels.

About This Opportunity

The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of becoming our customers' most valued supplier. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strong partnerships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth within designated territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell customer promotional plans, incremental displays, and equipment placements that align with the customer's and Coke Canada system's business objectives and strategies.
  • Evaluate outlet opportunities for new and existing Large Store customers.
  • Develop customized business plans addressing the critical needs of customers.
  • Collaborate with merchandising Supervisors and order replenishment teams to ensure revenue and profit goals are achieved.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Sell in promotional programs and ensure dealer compliance.
  • Execute channel and customer promotions/programs leveraging national brand strategies.
  • Arrange time and territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities.
  • Build or modify displays, sections, end caps, racks & coolers according to Coke Canada Bottling standards and programs.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
  • Post-Secondary education, preferably in a business-related field or sufficient business experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales role, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Experience in direct store delivery sales and major account management is an asset.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle multiple customer accounts.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficient using various computer programs.
  • Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within policy guidelines.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time salaried position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous RRSP matching program.
