Your Opportunity at Secure Energy:

We are seeking a Commercial Operations and Field Sales Representative for our Metal Recycling business.

This role is based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and involves identifying opportunities, planning, and executing sales.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Operations team to maintain a positive atmosphere and strong culture.

Work Environment:

This position offers flexible hours and the ability to travel.

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Secure Energy and our operations
  • Able to exploit business opportunities to grow market share
  • Develop detailed knowledge of customers' business strategies and integrate this into business relationships
  • Possess detailed knowledge of market drivers and operational costs to support bid development
  • Understand and partner with Operations to achieve business targets while maintaining customer service standards
  • Maintain high level of knowledge about competitive landscape through competitor analysis
  • Represent Secure's Metals division at tradeshows and other networking events
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and trends
  • Work with administrators and operations managers to resolve potential issues with payables or receivables

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales, business development, or client relations experience
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel required
  • Experience preparing and submitting quotation and bid proposals
  • Experience managing budget and achieving assigned goals
  • Metals recycling industry experience and established contacts considered an asset
  • Strong commitment to safety and understanding of behavior-based safety culture
  • Excellent selling, communication, and customer relationship building skills
  • Understanding of principles, methods, and strategies used for promoting and selling services
  • Effective communication skills, possess strong people, presentation, and technical writing skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to stay ahead of new activity and manage existing clients
