About the Role

SNDL Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a designated geographical area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading a team of Territory Managers, and ensuring that sales and revenue targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks
    • Set sales targets and priorities for the sales team to meet and exceed
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve sales performance
    • Foster a positive and motivating working environment focused on delivering results, while encouraging collaboration
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors
    • Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
    • Conduct regular client meetings to review performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management
    • Analyze sales data to inform business decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed
    • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and any additional relevant documentation
  • Compliance
    • Ensure all activities comply with provincial and federal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products
    • Stay informed on changing laws and regulations affecting the cannabis industry
  • Budget Management
    • Manage the Regional sales budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources
    • Monitor expenses and ensure they are within approved budgets
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (an asset)
    • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the cannabis industry or a relevant field
    • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a field sales team
  • Skills & Abilities
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of cannabis products and industry regulations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
    • Responds positively to coaching and feedback
  • Other Requirements
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Willingness and ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry necessary events
    • Ability to pass a background check
