Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for leading the sales efforts within a designated geographical area for SNDL Inc.

This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, leading a team of Territory Managers, and ensuring that sales and revenue targets are achieved.

The manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Set sales targets and priorities for the sales team to meet and exceed.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve sales performance.
    • Foster a positive and motivating working environment focused on delivering results, while encouraging collaboration.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors.
    • Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Conduct regular client meetings to review performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
    • Analyze sales data to inform business decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
    • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and any additional relevant documentation.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure all activities comply with provincial and federal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
    • Stay informed on changing laws and regulations affecting the cannabis industry.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the Regional sales budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure they are within approved budgets.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (an asset).
    • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the cannabis industry or a relevant field.
    • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a field sales team.

Working Conditions:

  • The position requires travel to various locations as assigned.
  • Work hours can vary and may include evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules and industry events.
