About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading building materials distribution business as a Regional Sales Manager. As a key member of the sales team, you will play a crucial role in developing a structured sales process for your region, working closely with operations to drive top-line revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to deepen commercial relationships
  • Conduct regular sales activity reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Define and implement best practices for sales processes and procedures
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the sales team
  • Lead sales meetings and contribute to national sales meetings
  • Collaborate with Regional General Managers to determine addressable market and build sales budgets
  • Provide sales forecasting and market information to the business
Requirements

We are seeking a sales professional with experience in a structured sales process and a proven track record of leadership. Building materials experience is an advantage, but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales processes and procedures, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
