Customer Service Representative for Manufacturing

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Kennametal. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to billing, orders, and product information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Enter and manage customer data in our CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Work closely with sales and plant teams to ensure seamless communication and support.
- Manage customer web-based interfaces and portals, including order retrieval, acknowledgments, and invoice uploading.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and retention.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide expert advice to customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; secondary degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
