Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Watson Building Supplies, a GMS Company. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and employees, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge of building materials for the drywall industry, including training and education on new products and services.
- Maintain a strong emphasis on safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities.
- Assist with business development through phone sales, contacting key or dormant accounts to promote products and services.
- Assist outside sales with job quoting and sales administration, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Provide customer service and communication support in-store sales and other store administration, inventory, and maintenance tasks.
- Follow all regulations and company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
- University degree or diploma in business or equivalent experience and on-the-job training.
- Previous experience in the building materials supply industry preferred.
- High degree of reading, writing, numeracy, and oral communication skills (speak, read, and write in English).
- Pleasant phone manner and strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and reports), Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to climb up and down stairs (houses and trucks).
