Customer Service Representative for Manufacturing

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Kennametal. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support to customers via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a fair and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Manage customer accounts, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Enter and track customer orders, including processing and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with accounting to resolve receivable issues and ensure accurate billing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored support.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring continued growth and success in the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field.
- Proven experience with SAP or similar CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
