Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Assent is a leading solution for supply chain sustainability, and we're seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic support to our leaders and teams, driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement global HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that attract, retain, and engage top talent.
  • Provide coaching, support, and insights to leaders, enabling informed decision-making and maximizing retention, engagement, and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with leaders, understanding their business objectives and developing people strategies to drive business growth.
  • Support leaders in evolving their organizational structure, roles, career paths, and objectives to maximize business plan execution.
  • Make recommendations in all areas of HR, enhancing team and Assentee success based on market trends, industry best practices, business knowledge, and compliance with security controls, company policies, and relevant legislation.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant HR experience, with at least 8+ years as a Business Partner supporting Senior Executive and/or C-level leaders, preferably in a rapidly growing global tech organization.
  • Bachelor's degree/Post Secondary Education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A CHRP or CHRL certification would be considered an asset.
  • Experience identifying and building strategic cross-functional partnerships across all levels of the business to understand challenges.
  • Passion for high-quality service to the business and delivering exceptional support.
  • Analytically driven with experience working with people and business metrics to guide decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a focus on innovation and learning.
  • Persistent and patient, with the propensity to stay calm and reasonable under pressure.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
