About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job Description

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Determining the types of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures
  • Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conducting performance reviews to ensure employees are meeting expectations
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management
  • E nsuring compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations to achieve business objectives
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and/or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, customers, and suppliers
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, and repetitive tasks
