SCOOPS BREAKFAST AND LUNCH RESTAURANT is seeking a Restaurant Operations Director to lead the daily operations of our establishment. This is a full-time position, 30 hours per week.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in managing staff, inventory, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting: Develop a budget to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
  • Daily Operations: Evaluate daily operations to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Revenue Management: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs.
  • Staff Management: Monitor staff performance, plan and organize daily operations, recruit staff, set staff work schedules, and train staff.
  • Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Cost products and services, and organize and maintain inventory.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and physically demanding environment.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
