Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Director to lead our team at the Edmonton Zone Primary Care Network Committee.

About Us

The Edmonton Zone Primary Care Network Committee is a collaborative collective of nine independent corporations dedicated to improving primary care in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are passionate about creating an engaging environment where everyone feels heard, and we strive to make a positive impact on the community.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and expanding the impact of our organization, developing effective relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of programs and services within available resources.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff and contractors.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, monitor progress, and evaluate results to ensure the organization meets its objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including healthcare providers, government officials, and community leaders.
  • Represent the organization at external committees and meetings, advocating for primary care interests in the Edmonton Zone.
  • Ensure financial management, budgeting, and reporting are carried out effectively, monitoring cash flow and expenditures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of senior leadership experience in a non-profit or healthcare organization, preferably at the executive director level.
  • Proven ability to implement strategic plans, build partnerships, and advocate for causes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

What We Offer

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $130,000 and $140,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a chance to make a meaningful impact on the community.
