The Citadel Theatre is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its next Executive Director.

This role presents a unique opportunity for a creative and dynamic individual to shape the future of the theatre.

  1. Manage the operational components of the Citadel Theatre, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  2. Lead the Edmonton arts community with a strong desire to engage with theatres across Canada and internationally, fostering collaborations and partnerships.
  3. Builddrive public and private sector support to deliver on strategic priorities, driving growth and success.
  4. Collaborate with the Citadel Theatre team to achieve shared goals, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

Requirements:

  1. Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of success in arts management and theatre operations.
  2. Ability to build relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, leveraging networks to drive results.
  3. Drive to deliver strategic priorities and achieve results, measuring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An annual salary range of $170,000 - $190,000 commensurate with experience, reflecting the organization's commitment to competitive compensation.
  • Four weeks of paid vacation, providing time for rest and rejuvenation.
  • Extended Health, Dental, and RRSP plans, supporting overall well-being and financial security.
