About the Role

The Architectural Coordinator will play a key role in providing architectural services to support the company's residential construction projects. This position will assist in coordinating and reviewing architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with company standards and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Architecture Department in providing architectural services to the company.
  • Coordinate and review architectural drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards and building codes.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and reviewing estimated costs for residential construction projects.
  • Collaborate with external architects and engineers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of architectural services.
  • Participate in value engineering and design optimization for residential construction projects.
  • Prepare and distribute architectural documentation and drawings to internal stakeholders and external consultants.
  • Manage electronic storage and distribution of architectural drawings and construction documentation.

Requirements

  • Architectural Technology Diploma from a Community College or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in residential construction or architectural services.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in drawing application programs, including AutoCAD.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to check documents and drawings for accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes and bring creative solutions to address challenges.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
