About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Architectural Coordinator to join our team at Mattamy Homes Limited. As a key member of our Architecture Department, you will play a crucial role in providing architectural services to support our homebuilding operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and documents to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external parties, including architects and engineers, to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing and purchasing teams, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and review budgets and cost reports to ensure accurate financial tracking.
  • Verify that architectural working drawings correspond with marketing materials and forward discrepancies to the appropriate departments.
  • Participate in value engineering and design optimization initiatives to improve product offerings.
  • Prepare architectural memos, details, and drawings as required for internal staff and external consultants.
  • Manage electronic storage and distribution of architectural drawings and construction documentation.
Requirements
  • Architectural Technology Diploma from a Community College or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of construction or architectural experience, with residential construction experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of drawing application programs, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to check documents and drawings for accuracy.
  • Proven track record of adapting to change and bringing creative solutions to address challenges.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
