Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mehta Medicine Prof Corp.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate areas of the office
  • Provide information to clients and the public, ensuring accurate and timely responses
  • Process and obtain required information for customer service purposes
  • Operate the switchboard or telephone system, handling incoming and outgoing calls
  • Manage office supplies, ordering as needed
  • Record and relay important information, ensuring seamless communication within the team
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Send invoices and process payments, ensuring timely and efficient financial transactions
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You should have strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but training will be provided
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The physical demands of this role include sitting for extended periods, as well as combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Personal Suitability

You must possess efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and excellent written communication skills. Flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.
