Hotel Supervisor

Athabasca Motor Hotel 1972 Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff
- Lead and motivate a team of staff members to achieve exceptional customer service and sales goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Front Desk Operations
- Manage the front desk, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
- Ensure accurate and efficient handling of guest transactions, including payments and refunds.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial tracking and decision-making.
- Monitor and control expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
- Maintenance and Facilities
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of hotel facilities, including rooms, public areas, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Other Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality management role.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other hotel management software.
