At T&T Supermarket Inc., we are committed to providing a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers. As an Asset Performance Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company's privacy programs are built, implemented, and operated effectively.
About the RoleThis position reports to the Senior Manager, Contract & Compliance, and is responsible for building, implementing, and operating the T&T Canada & US privacy programs. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and performing risk assessments to ensure that business groups' privacy maturity aligns with the overall enterprise privacy program.
The objective of this role is to ensure that all existing and future privacy-related policies, rules, and procedures comply with applicable legislation. You will execute the enterprise privacy program components, including content development, privacy training, privacy assessments, and reporting, tailored to fit the needs of retail and shared service business units.
You will provide timely, ongoing, and accurate privacy advice on CASL, US-related legislation and regulations, and data ethics risks, identifying mitigating controls as needed. Perform risk assessments on new initiatives involving personal information collection, use, and disclosure, as well as on new suppliers/vendors entering the parent company environment.
You will support the development and implementation of privacy policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and tools based on laws, industry standards, and business objectives. Identify and manage privacy risks in day-to-day operations, including within new and existing projects.
You will also support the development, implementation, training, and management of privacy awareness and compliance programs, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Track and report privacy risks, remediation activities, and key program status.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $90,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will receive extended health/dental/vision care and a retirement benefit. Our 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday) operates from 9:00am – 5:30pm, providing a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements- A post-secondary college or university graduate with a certificate in CIPP.
