Job Description:

Scotiabank is seeking a Strategic Leadership Manager to play a key role in driving our leadership agenda across the enterprise.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the calendar of leadership activities across the enterprise, identifying opportunities to further engage leaders and showcase the leadership brand.
  • Partner with the Director, Leadership to drive leadership development strategy, executing applicable executive planning and talent movement items.
  • Lead the project management of Human Capital Committee (HCC) and Human Capital and Compensation Committee of the Board (HCOB) deliverables, facilitating the review process with VP, Leadership & Talent Management and SVP, Talent Strategy.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience planning and developing communications/presentations for executive audiences.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience designing, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives for global and/or financial services organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply quantitative analysis to outcomes/trends to assess opportunity for continuous improvement from concept to execution.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current and emerging leadership development strategies as well as latest best practice research.
