CPP Investments, a professional investment management organization, seeks a dynamic Manager, Strategic Communications to join its Public Affairs and Communications team for an 18-month contract.

About This Role:

This exciting opportunity involves developing and executing plans for senior leadership's external appearances, managing strategic relationships with media event platforms and global sustainability organizations, and overseeing engagement protocols for employees speaking at or attending global events.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute plans for senior leadership's external appearances, including conferences, industry events, sponsorships, and speech writing.
  • Manage key strategic relationships with media event platforms, global sustainability organizations, and select think tanks to ensure the organization is represented at influential platforms.
  • Oversee the external and internal engagement protocols for employees speaking at or attending global events and conferences.


Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in communications, journalism, business, or a related field, experience in asset management, financial writing, and the ability to take complex concepts and distill them into clear content. You should also be digitally savvy, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
