Safety Plus is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our office by performing a variety of administrative tasks.

About the Job

This permanent full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work independently under pressure, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events;
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage calendars, and respond to phone calls and messages;
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents;
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records;
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience;
  • Excellent oral communication skills, ability to multitask, and organized;
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Google Drive;
