Job Title: Executive Chef

Hibachi is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality food standards, managing kitchen operations, and supervising a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Dependability, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the culinary industry.
Work Environment:
  • Noisy and hot work environment.
  • Restaurant and bar setting.
Security and Safety:
  • Medical exam and criminal record check required.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Work under pressure.

Experience:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the culinary industry.
