Executive Chef

Hibachi is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality food standards, managing kitchen operations, and supervising a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
- Dependability, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the culinary industry.
- Noisy and hot work environment.
- Restaurant and bar setting.
- Medical exam and criminal record check required.
