We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Nai Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to maintain profitability.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and banquets.
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve exceptional service standards.
- Monitor and control food costs, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive team culture.
- 2+ years of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Proven track record of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
