Job Title: Sous Chef

Ontario Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of food, as well as supervising and training junior staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members in food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
