Job Title: Executive Chef

HIBACHI is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Supervise 3-4 people in the kitchen.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience as a chef or in a related role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Dependability, organization, and reliability.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

HIBACHI is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As an Executive Chef, you will be working in a hot and noisy kitchen, with a focus on providing excellent service and quality food to our guests.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

40-50 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
