Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team at Challenger Motor Freight Inc. This role is responsible for driving profitable sales growth and expanding our customer base.
About the Role:
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Identifying Sales Prospects for further development and closure
- Closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
- Researching accounts, identifying key players and generating interest
- Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects
- Team working with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Performing effective online demos to prospects
- Working with all departments through onboarding of secured business
Qualifications:
- Proven Business Development experience in the Transportation industry (TL Sales)
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
- Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task
- Effective teamwork skills
- Ability to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities
- Strong communication, customer service and computer skills
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience
