About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is properly managed.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, repairs, and wastage.
    • Maintain accurate records of our inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that our staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

Our restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and quality food. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be required to work in a noisy, wet/damp, and hot environment, with frequent exposure to odours.
