About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient operations
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Inventory and Budgeting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports on restaurant performance
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
