About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are motivated and engaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Manage the overall operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
    • Ensure that all restaurant systems and processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including shift managers, crew members, and kitchen staff.
    • Provide coaching and training to team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Strong financial management skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to motivate and coach team members.
