Job Overview

The Local Government Administrators of the NWT are seeking a skilled part-time Member and Communications Coordinator to join their team in Yellowknife.

About the Role

This 25-hour per week position involves providing administrative support, coordinating communications, and assisting with membership tasks. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working in a professional office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining accurate records.
  2. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with members, stakeholders, and the wider community.
  3. Assist with membership-related tasks, such as updating member information and responding to inquiries.
Requirements
  • A diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, or Communications.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a professional office setting.
  • Experience using Wix and Canva is considered an asset.
What We Offer

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $30.00 per hour for a 25-hour workweek. This part-time opportunity provides a great work-life balance and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to the Local Government Administrators of the NWT.
