Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve profitable sales growth within various wholesale customers and small chain retailers.
  • Establish strong business relationships, work with customers to develop account plans and priorities.
  • Drive product distribution, product display, and overall incremental volume at various retail outlets.
  • Ensure clear, concise, and timely communication with all stakeholders, representing the organization professionally at a head office level.
  • Review sales data and apply knowledge of the territory to identify sales opportunities.
  • Verify that all authorized items are in distribution at retail stores.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education is required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of CPG sales experience in the retail grocery industry in Canada is required.
  • Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen/Customer Data) is preferred.
  • Working with wholesale customers is considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer technologies (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
