This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the business unit. As a key member of the Canadian Retail Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing wholesale customers and small chain retailers across Eastern Canada, with a focus on the Greater Toronto Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve profitable sales growth within various wholesale customers and small chain retailers.
- Establish strong business relationships, work with customers to develop account plans and priorities.
- Drive product distribution, product display, and overall incremental volume at various retail outlets.
- Ensure clear, concise, and timely communication with all stakeholders, representing the organization professionally at a head office level.
- Review sales data and apply knowledge of the territory to identify sales opportunities.
- Verify that all authorized items are in distribution at retail stores.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education is required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of CPG sales experience in the retail grocery industry in Canada is required.
- Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen/Customer Data) is preferred.
- Working with wholesale customers is considered a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in computer technologies (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
