The Sales Coordinator will also generate and analyze strategic reports related to fleet productivity, dock productivity, and delivery efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement through measurement and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales and quote reports, identify trends, areas of growth, and areas of concern, and present to the Sales Team.
  • Prepare rate requests, bring to proposal stage, and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Contact specific customers for after-sales service calls and development calls if required.
  • Conduct prospecting calls to potential future customers.
  • Track sales activities and prepare sales reports on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate customer needs and requests with operations and administration, and follow through to resolution if required.

Qualifications:

Must have post-secondary education in a related area such as commerce, business administration, or logistics. Must have operational knowledge of sales and/or the LTL trucking industry. Must have strong administrative and computer skills and extensive experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. Should be able to demonstrate strong organization skills and prioritizing tasks. Enthusiastic and positive personality when dealing with potential new customers and when handling concerns with existing customers is required. Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines while working with minimal supervision. Experience using all Microsoft Office programs at a proficient level is necessary.
