About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager, Fluids Engineering to join our team at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and scientists in the development of innovative solutions for nuclear-driven research and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and scientists in the development of innovative solutions for nuclear-driven research and capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research and development projects
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in nuclear research and development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, physics, chemistry)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a research and development environment
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
