Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager, Industrial Engineering to join our team at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL). As a key member of our Reactor Fleet Sustainability Directorate, you will be responsible for managing the resources and activities in support of CNL's missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully execute projects and programs to meet customer requirements, including nuclear industry and Federal S&T
  • Execute the business for Branch focus area(s)
  • Support work and deliverables based on knowledge of the technical area, environment, policy, customers, and marketplace
  • Nurture and enhance the scientific capabilities - staff, facilities, and equipment - in the branch
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a University of recognized standing; D. or Master's degree in Fluids Engineering or related field is preferred
  • 10 to 12 years technical project/process experience; A minimum of two (2) years in a technical, project, or management leadership role
  • Experience in innovation and program/project management, which includes management of people, processes, customers and financial performance
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with management and staff of the organization and building a team approach
  • Ability to foster a team environment by understanding and managing group dynamics
  • Ability to solicit points of view, ideas and opinions from team members to help form decision or plans in achieving organizational unit objectives
Security Clearance

Level 2 Secret which has a minimum requirement of 7 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.

Work Environment

Visiting laboratories, Customer sited, and accessing areas through stairs, ladders, on foot will be required infrequently. Remote working may be required periodically. Industrial and laboratory setting visits for days at a times is required.
