Job Title: Administrative Officer - Nova Scotia Limited

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and report preparation
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Train staff on new procedures and technologies
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
