We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Sales Development Manager to join our vibrant Vancouver team. Located in the heart of British Columbia, this role will cover the territories of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead efforts to attract and secure new clients through targeted sales strategies.
  • Take direct ownership of Net Sales and Gross Profit at both the customer and shipment levels through personal initiative and dedication.
  • Pursue external sales opportunities with potential and existing clients to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Promote our full range of products and services to ensure a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Consistently update Salesforce with timely and accurate information for effective country and regional reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to determine effective sales strategies that align with organizational directives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with medium to large accounts to drive ongoing business success.
  • Ensure all expenses are recorded accurately in the compliance portal for transparency and accountability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
  • A driven, results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Experience in account management and technical sales is a plus.
