Freight Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Sales Development Manager to join our vibrant Vancouver team. Located in the heart of British Columbia, this role will cover the territories of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth, expanding market reach, and building lasting client relationships. If you're a driven professional with a passion for success in the freight forwarding sector, this is your chance to excel.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead efforts to attract and secure new clients through targeted sales strategies.
- Take direct ownership of Net Sales and Gross Profit at both the customer and shipment levels through personal initiative and dedication.
- Pursue external sales opportunities with potential and existing clients to build and strengthen relationships.
- Promote our full range of products and services to ensure a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Consistently update Salesforce with timely and accurate information for effective country and regional reporting.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to determine effective sales strategies that align with organizational directives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with medium to large accounts to drive ongoing business success.
- Ensure all expenses are recorded accurately in the compliance portal for transparency and accountability.

Requirements
- Proven experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
- A driven, results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Experience in account management and technical sales is a plus.
